The patients that I see want to be there, and they don't come because they are in pain. Not only that though I am in a position to first handedly begin to see the alterations in each patient. They smile more, are less self-conscious, and their self confidence rises. Being an orthodontist is really an enriching job."

In fact, Dr. Gerard described that orthodontics is not just a science. "It is both a form of art as well as a science, because along with medical and dental science, it also requires the art of making beautiful smiles." This artistic process is one of most of Dr. Gerard's unique talents, which his patients immensely appreciate.

Dr. Gerard loves utilizing his patients, but his job doesn't necessarily go smoothly. A patient's cooperation is vital to creating the braces work with him/her.
